Refund Policy

CarnivalDeGoa has crafted cancellation policy with varying flexibility. It’s the choice of the Host to select a convenient cancellation policy, but CarnivalDeGoa suggests Flexible policy to start with. A cancellation policy dictates how much refund you can get if you cancel the booking and how early you should cancel it, if you want a full refund. Read the policy for more details.

Guests are requested to read and understand the Cancellation, Refund, Relocation, Reschedulement and other Policies applicable before making a booking.

Standard/Moderate Cancellation Policy

If the Guest cancels the booking anywhere before 21 days before checkin date, they are entitled to a 100% refund.

If the Guest cancels the booking anywhere between 21-11 days before checkin date, they are entitled to a 50% refund.

Any cancellations made after 11 days to checkin date, there would be no refund.

If the Guest has made a partial payment, he/she is entitled to no refund whatsoever.

If a guest uses the “NOCANCEL” coupon while booking, all cancellation policies are overridden. The guest is not entitled to any refund and will have to pay a 100% rescheduling fee in the event of the same.

A nominal 2.75% convenience fee would be deducted from the refund amount for processing of the cancellation.

Terms & Conditions

In case of any refunds that CarnivalDeGoa owes Guest(s), the processing shall be completed within 5-7 working days. A nominal cancellation fee of 5% shall be levied for refunds processed by CarnivalDeGoa. This is primarily levied to cover payment gateway charges and minimal processing charges.

GST at applicable rates will be charged on this cancellation fee.

A reservation is considered officially ‘cancelled’ when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard ➞ Your Trips ➞ Cancel, or he/she calls our Reservations Agent and confirms the same.

If the guest checks-in and decides to leave early, any refund of the accommodation fee and cleaning fee will be decided and settled as considered appropriate by CarnivalDeGoa.

Refund for Extra Charges

In case of any change in group size, the extra bedding charges collected can be refunded if intimated to CarnivalDeGoa minimum 2 days prior to check-in. As with all refunds a 5% processing fee shall be levied for processing the refund. No refund for extra bedding charges shall be processed if informed within 2 days prior check-in or after check-in.

Cancellation by CarnivalDeGoa

CarnivalDeGoa reserves to right to cancel a booking. CarnivalDeGoa will offer the guest one of the following options.

Book an alternative comparable available Home, if available

CarnivalDeGoa shall offer Travel Credit (validity of 6 months from date of issuance) of the full amount paid + 10% value of the existing booking that may be redeemed while booking a new home.

A full refund for the total amount paid. The refund shall be processed within 5-7 working days from the date of cancellation.

Reschedule Policy

Bookings can be rescheduled only at the same home.

If the tariff of the new dates is higher than the tariffs of the original booking, the difference is payable to CarnivalDeGoa to confirm the new dates.

CarnivalDeGoa allows reschedulement only up to 2 days prior to check-in.

CarnivalDeGoa charges no reschedulement charge if the booking is rescheduled within 12 hours of payment (Not valid on stays where check-in is within 7 days of booking).

CarnivalDeGoa charges 15% reschedulement charge + taxes if he/she reschedules the confirmed booking upto 7 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM).

CarnivalDeGoa charges 50% reschedulement charge + taxes if he/she reschedules the confirmed booking upto 2 days before the Date of Check-In (before 1 PM).

Reschedulement charge is applicable, every time a booking is rescheduled.

Relocation Policy

Relocation (to another Home) is not permitted, once a booking is confirmed.

Early Check-in and Late Check-out Policy

Our standard check-in time is 1 pm and check-out time is 10 am.

We’d be happy to offer you a complimentary early check-in by 12 noon, provided there’s no booking at the villa for the previous night. Please confirm with us a day prior to the check-in. In case you wish to avail an earlier check-in (earliest possible is 9:00 am), charges are applicable. The rate is 20% of the tariff for that night.

We’d be happy to offer a complimentary late check-out by 11:00 am if there’s no booking at the villa on the day of your checkout. However, we can only let you know by 8 am on your checkout date as we do accept instant online and last-minute bookings.

In case you wish to avail a further extended checkout (post 11:00 am), charges are applicable. The rate is 20% of the tariff for that night for a Checkout up to 3 pm, and 40% upto 6 pm. Full night charges apply thereafter.

It is at the discretion of CarnivalDeGoa, whether to offer early check-in or late check-out.

Processing Refunds

In case of any refunds that CarnivalDeGoa owes Guest(s), the processing shall be completed within 5-7 working days.

A nominal cancellation fee of 5% shall be levied for processing refunds by CarnivalDeGoa . This is levied to cover payment gateway charges along with a minimal processing charge.
